The village’s regent, Muanalo, claimed he had known from the beginning that the throne belonged to the legitimate heir and had no need to contest it. When the time comes for the legitimate heir to assume the throne, many regents have resisted doing so. Many royal houses have become confused as a result of these conflicts, and some have even perished in the chieftainship battle. He stated during the new headman’s inauguration that the throne does not belong to me and that I support our new, legitimate traditional leader as an elder of the royal house.
At Musanda Hamukununde, the ceremony was held. As ndumi and khadzi, respectively, Dakalo Lumange and Lufuno Mukununde were declared.
Mutahabvu Vho Thivhilaeli Humbulani Gilbert Mukununde, who passed away on March 25, 2021, at the age of 73, is succeeded by Musanda Vheo Azwidohwi. Up until Vhamusanda Vho Mukununde’s inauguration on Saturday, which was presided over by senior traditional leader Thovhele VHo Hanyani Tshikundamalema, Vhavenda Vaha Muanalo had been serving as the regent of the village.
” I’m happy to introduce you to your new traditional leader, whom you should respect and work with.” Since I wo n’t be able to visit every village under my control to keep an eye on development, he will serve as my eyes and ears. Thovhele Vho Tshikundamalema asserted that anyone who disobeys the new traditional leader does not respect him.
To encourage development in his village, he urged the new traditional leader to collaborate with the local municipality, local government agencies, and community stakeholders.
Mr. Mbulaheni Mamidze of CoGHSTA, Godfrey Mawela of Musina, and Lufuno Madavha of the Mukununde Civic Association were among the well-wishers.
