Hope, fortitude, and overcoming adversity are all themes in Sisa’s tale.
Violinist Sisa entered the scene in April with the intention of purchasing a new violin for himself.
He began playing the violin when he was 12 years old and has been a professional player ever since.
However, if you have any knowledge of violins, they are quite expensive.
He made the decision to “walk by faith and not by sight” despite having a difficult first round with the large numbers, and it definitely paid off.
Sisa left carrying a massive R46k!
He used his winnings to purchase a new set of strings, make some repairs, and set aside money for his ideal violin.
His tale is one of perseverance, hope, and overcoming hardship.
