Residents of Cape Town are being forewarned of water supply disruptions brought on by anticipated maintenance work.

This coming week, the disruptions are scheduled to last from Monday through Thursday.

Wynberg and Plumstead, Die Wingerd, Greenway Rise, and other Somerset neighborhood areas will be impacted.

Emergency water supplies must also be kept on hand for residents of Sunning Hill, Bloubergstrand, Flamingo, and Table View.

We will continue our maintenance projects this coming week as part of the city’s commitment to funding our infrastructure and ensuring that we continue to function as a working city. According to Zahid Badroodien, the city’s water and sanitation mayoral member, these include the installation of pipes and valves, repairs, and replacements as well as the crucial zero pressure tests and conditional assessments.
