To help those who might need to gather Identity Documents for voter registration, the Home Affairs department stated that it is confident that all of its systems will operate without a hitch all weekend.

The department is prepared to host more than 200 people at each office, according to deputy minister Njabulo Nzuza.

We also opened all of our offices last weekend as part of a sort of dry run to assess the level of readiness, and it was successful—we were open from 8 am to 1 pm. Therefore, we are prepared and very upbeat, Nzuza said.
