This Black Friday sale is a record low for Apple’s third-generation AirPods, which are$ 30 off.
Amazon charges$ 140.
The third-generation AirPods, which were released in 2021, significantly enhanced Apple’s well-liked wireless earbuds. The company changed the hardware to improve sound quality and make them more comfortable and fit better in various ear shapes. The entire revamped package produces noticeably better sound than that of their predecessors, and a custom driver and high-dynamic-range amplifier also add significantly to the mix. These buds support spatial audio, dynamic head tracking, and adaptive EQ, all of which help to improve sound overall, even though they do n’t supportANC.
Additionally, battery life has increased: Apple estimates that a single charge will allow for six hours of listening, and the additional juice that their charging case offers can last up to 30 hours. When we tested these buds, we found that they had a battery life estimate of about seven hours ( spatial audio on, dynamic head tracking off ), which is pretty good for true wireless earbuds.
The H1 chip inside these AirPods, like every other pair of earbuds Apple produces, enables features like hands-free Siri and quick pairing and switching between Apple devices. One of the reasons Apple’s earbuds are so well-liked is that using AirPods with an iPhone, iPad, or MacBook is fairly simple if you live in the Apple ecosystem. The third-generation buds could be a suitable replacement for any aging earbuds you may have this year or for the Apple obsessive on your list given this sale.
