You can add a whole ass car to your Amazon shopping cart starting next year. The business declared today that it would begin selling cars in the US the following year. Hyundai will be the first automaker to offer its products for purchase as part of an Amazon partnership, though additional brands are likely to follow.

It does n’t seem like purchasing a car on Amazon is all that different from purchasing almost anything else there. You can conduct a model, trim, color, and feature search for cars in your area, according to an Amazon blog post. Once you’ve decided on a car, you can either pick it up or have it delivered to your neighborhood dealership before using the website’s standard payment or financing options. Are shipping costs waived for Prime members? I certainly hope so.

As part of its collaboration with Amazon, Hyundai will also incorporate Alexa into its vehicles beginning in 2025. This will enable you to ask Alexa for directions, traffic updates, weather reports, and control the car’s media player and navigation system in addition to the customary tasks like playing music and setting timers.
