City of Joburg extends library hours on weekends during exam period

On weekends during exam season, the city of Joburg extends library hours.

The chosen libraries are currently open from 9 am to 3 pm on Sundays and 9am to 5 p.m. on Saturdays.

Finding a conducive study environment can help to reduce some of the stress that comes with exam time, which is something we all know can be stressful.

By increasing library operating hours on weekends, the City of Joburg hopes to assist students in adequately preparing for their exams.

The extension, according to the city, is for research and reference purposes.

The chosen libraries are currently open from 9 am to 3 pm on Sundays and 9am to 5 p.m. on Saturdays.

Until Sunday, December 3, the libraries will be open throughout the exam period.

These libraries offer extended weekend hours:

Diepsloot Library

North Library in Ivory Park

Randburg Library

Florida Library

Jabavu Library, for example

The Sandton Library

The Yeoville Library

Orange Farm Library
