On Sunday morning, the M7 westbound before the N3 was completely shut down in Pinetown due to a truck fire that was attended to by emergency teams.
The flames were quickly put out by firefighters, preventing them from spreading to the tanker as a whole.

” The truck’s hose was primarily impacted by the fire. However, it is claimed that the truck’s driver fled the scene when it started to burn while paramedics searched for him.
The fire’s origin has not yet been determined.
