The model that debuted at CES 2022 has been updated to the M8 Smart Monitor in 2023. The 32-inch 4K monitor has a maximum viewing angle of 178 degrees, 3840 x 2160 resolution with HDR, and 60Hz refresh rate. This 2023 model has built-in apps and internet of things( IoT ) control features, just like the original. When you need to complete work without using a computer, you can stream content from services like Netflix, YouTube, Amazon Prime Video, and Disney +. However, Microsoft Office 365 apps are also available.

It has built-in ports for USB-C, HDMI, and USB – A when it’s time to connect it to your computer. Even better than standard monitors, it comes pre-installed with software that enables remote access and control of your PC. Additionally, if you own a Samsung mobile device, you can turn it into an imitation desktop computer by using the company’s DeX software.

With the help of SmartThings and the Smart Monitor M8’s IoT hub, you can operate smart home appliances directly from the display, such as changing the lighting or temperature in your house. A detachable SlimFit Cam with face tracking for video calls and full HD recording is included. Additionally, Alexa allows you to control your voice, possibly saving you from having to purchase an Echo speaker for that space.
