Irfaan Mangera, the coordinator of JOHANNESBURG – Rise Mzansi’s civic alliances, claimed that the South African people and civic society are the beneficiaries of their alliance.
During the second day of the Rise Mzansi convention, which took place on Saturday at Constitution Hill, Mangera delivered the opening remarks.
800 delegates will attend the People’s Manifesto Convention, which started on Friday and ends on Sunday. It will discuss how to develop South Africa in preparation for the general elections in 2024.

Mangera asserted that better governance depends on their participation in society.
” For us, we remain steadfast and clear. Our agreement does not call for us to travel to any moon, and we will not make political concessions before first forging alliances with the societies from which we originate.” With our people, we have a pact.
