JOHANNESBURG- On Monday, a rescue operation for two people washed up in the Klip River has been put on hold.

After the 18-year-old female and the 21st-century male were reported missing on Saturday, emergency services officials started their search on Sunday.

The couple reportedly vanished in the stream on Saturday during a cleansing ceremony.

The 18-year-old’s mother has admitted to accepting the possibility that her child may not be discovered alive, according to Eyewitness News.

” In order to start the investigation, we are waiting for the bodies to be discovered, and we want the ritual’s leaders to give the police an account.”
